CoolSculpting FAQ Part 3

Life has many ups and downs that we could never anticipate, and even the best of intentions can be overridden. If you haven’t been able to to everything you wished you could for your body, you’re not alone. Many people are dissatisfied with the care they’ve given their bodies – but life is hectic, and it’s hard to find time to take care of everything! Whether this describes you or not, the team at Front Range Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is here to understand your goals and deliver them with excellence and compassion. One of the most effective and convenient options we offer is CoolSculpting, a treatment in which fat cells are frozen and therefore removed by the body itself.

In our last blog, we explored two commonly-asked questions about this great treatment. Today, we have two more insights to offer!

What does CoolSculpting actually feel like?

  • As you may guess, once the apparatus has been put in place, you will feel intense cooling and firm pressure. Give it a few minutes, and those sensations will fade away. Afterwards, you may experience tingling, some numbness, and some aching.

Do I need to change up my lifestyle in order to get CoolSculpting?

  • Nope! CoolSculpting doesn’t call for changes in exercise, diet, or supplements. That being said, don’t be surprised if getting CoolSculpting inspires you to boost your self-care. We have seen many people change their lifestyles simply because the treatment makes them value their bodies more.

Keeping your chin up can be easier when you know you’re taking care of your body. However, you need to take care of your body in a way that fits you. If CoolSculpting looks like a treatment that might suit you, we are ready to discuss it in more depth. Contact our Loveland office for an appointment with our Board-Certified plastic surgeon!
