How long is each CoolSculpting treatment?
A typical CoolSculpting treatment lasts between one and three hours, however, every patient is different. Your doctor will discuss how long your treatments will be based on your goals and needs during your free consultation.
Is CoolSculpting safe? Is it painful? Are there side effects?
CoolSculpting has been cleared by the FDA for safely and effectively reducing fat in the abdomen and flanks (love handles). Though some patients report slight discomfort or temporary pain, there is typically no downtime required after treatments. The side effects of CoolSculpting include bruising, redness, tenderness to the touch, swelling, itching, tingling, cramping and numbness. Most side effects are short-lived, but numbness can last for several weeks after the procedure. If you have concerns about the discomfort of side effects relating to CoolSculpting, be sure to discuss them with your doctor during your consultation.
