Workout Tips for After Coolsculpting

In our last post, What is Coolsculpting?, we took the opportunity to discuss the essentials of CoolSculpting in addition to briefly discussing why you should consider choosing CoolSculpting. While we encourage you to go back and read that article when you get the chance, the shortened answer for such a questions is that CoolSculpting is non-invasive cosmetic treatment. This means that you can remove acute deposits that are nearly impossible to work off with diet and exercise alone, without needing to resort to cosmetic surgery.

In addition, CoolSculpting is almost incomparable to surgery regarding discomfort experienced during treatment. That is, most patients experience a minimum of discomfort during the treatment. As evidence of this fact, the majority of our CoolSculpting patients are able to read, work on a laptop, or simply relax while undergoing the cosmetic treatment.

WORKOUT TIPS FOR AFTER COOLSCULPTING

Take it Easy

While Coolsculpting is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment, you may be sore in your treated area afterward. You should take it easy in the days following your Coolsculpting appointment. Taking a few days off from the gym won’t kill you, and it will give your body the time it needs to recuperate and recover without having you push it to its limits.

Make Exercise Routine

If you want to enhance the results of your Coolsculpting treatment, exercise can help. Exercise will help enhance the fat reduction process and will help prevent the fat from coming back. Scheduling in exercise can go a long way in helping to keep your fat off. Anything is better than nothing, so whether you just go for a walk after dinner or you hit an intense cardio class at the gym, being active will be a key to keeping the fat off.

Introduce New Exercises Slowly

Coolsculpting can make you feel great — so great that you decide to run a half-marathon soon afterward when you haven’t run more than one mile in a year. While you do want to get back into the routine of exercise, you don’t want to push yourself to the point of injury. Easing yourself back into exercise is the best bet after a Coolsculpting treatment. You can add in cardio, such as light jogging or brisk walking, as well as light weight lifting as well. If you want added accountability, consider joining a gym. Whatever will get you active is what you should be aiming for.

Lifestyle is Work

There are very few people who are naturally blessed with a great-looking body that is effortless. For the vast majority of us, if you want to be slim and look good, you’ll have to work at it. This will entail watching what you eat and exercising after your Coolsculpting treatment appointment. Being healthy is a life-long endeavor.
