CoolSculpting® FAQ Part 2
When was the last time you did something for yourself? At Front Range Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, we understand how hectic life can be. It’s easy to get caught up with trying to keep up, and the first thing many people neglect is themselves. Many times, taking care of oneself seems like too much of a hassle, and this can be especially true when it comes to fat reduction. It can be hard to find the time to prepare, undergo, and recover from a fat reduction procedure. The good news is, there are quicker solutions that are extremely effective, and one of them is CoolSculpting®. This is a revolutionary fat-reduction treatment that physically freezes fat cells so that your body removes them.
In our last blog, we discussed two frequently-asked questions about CoolSculpting. Today, we have two more questions to answer for you!
Am I a good candidate for CoolSculpting?
- Because CoolSculpting is made to address isolated bulges of fat, it cannot address overall body fat. That means, in order to be a good candidate, you need to be in relatively good shape. If you are obese, we can still help you; we encourage you to make an appointment with us so we can discuss your goals and how we can achieve them!
Do the results of CoolSculpting last?
- Because your body removes the fat cells that CoolSculpting eliminates, the results in the area you got CoolSculpting are permanent in most cases.
As always, a blog is no substitute for an actual person! If you are at all interested in CoolSculpting, we encourage you to make an appointment with us in Loveland. Dr. Schutte, our Board-Certified plastic surgeon, will be happy to sit down with you and discuss just what you’re dealing with and what your goals are. It is possible to take care of yourself while staying on top of life – let us show you!
