CoolSculpting Results – Maintaining A Healthy Weight

If you are considering CoolSculpting as a way to lose unwanted, stubborn fat for good, it is important that you understand how to maintain your results. And, one of the most important things you can do to stay looking good for a very long time, with our without CoolSculpting, is to maintain a consistent weight.

Consistency, when it comes to weight, does not mean never changing at all. Hormone levels and other things impact our weight from day-to-day, week-to-week, and month-to-month. So, don’t beat yourself up if your weight fluctuates up or down by about five pounds on a regular basis. If you see a consistent change in one direction, over a few months, that’s when you need to take action.

Hopefully, you are already familiar with some of these recommendations. If you are good candidate for the procedure, you will be. And, we hope you’ll find some new and helpful information here that you can use to live a healthier life, regardless of your decision about the CoolSculpting procedure..

Exercise Consistently

You don’t have to be a fanatic, but you should be consistent with your exercise routine. If you regularly exercise 30 minutes a day, you’re in good shape. As long as you aren’t changing your eating habits, you should be able to maintain your weight. Consistency is the key. One four-hour workout a week, or two three-hour workouts, won’t give you nearly the results that a simple, daily workout provides.

Don’t Diet

This may sound like bad advice, but, it isn’t. Crash diets wreak havoc with your metabolism and can make it harder to maintain a healthy weight for a long period of time. If you’ve gained a little weight, don’t panic and go on a super restrictive diet. Just take a look at what you’re eating and how much you are exercising. Make sure your portion sizes are correct and that you’re getting a good mix of vegetables and protein every day. And, don’t forget the exercise. If your workouts have changed, that could be the reason you’ve put on a few pounds. And, don’t forget, muscle weighs more than fat, so keep track of how much muscle you are building.

Be Aware

For anyone who has struggled with their weight, denial can be a powerful foe. Don’t let fear sabotage you. Weigh yourself several times a week. Ideally, weigh yourself every morning when you get up.

Stay Strong

Be sure to include some kind of resistance training to your daily routine. Strong muscles are important for overall health and wellbeing. But, stronger muscles also help us burn calories and keep our metabolism pumped. So maintain a good balance of weight training and cardiovascular exercise.

Maintaining your CoolSculpting results isn’t a complicated process. But, just because something is simple, doesn’t necessarily mean it is easy. If you struggle with any of these things, make sure you’ve got a good support system in place to help keep you motivated.
